Lilac's yappings

 Okay, I need to get this off of my chest I fear. Social Media is so frustrating at the moment?? As of the time of posting this Twitter or X or whatever you want to call it, went ahead and added a "Edit Image" feature which pretty much enables users to feed a picture or drawing into Grok and edit it as they please. As an illustrator this is soooooo frustrating and I also already deleted most of my posts on that account now, since I don't want to have my work taken from me like that.    The other conversation that got triggered by this however is the different social media sites that are currently available. Personally, I don't like posting on any of them tooooo much.  I had a whole paragraph typed out on here about all the different sites I've made accounts on and why I dislike each of them, but that's not the point and probably just pointless yapping.   I drew this drawing a long aaaaaa time ago inspired by a post of a friend of my bf. He suggested to redraw the Mariah Carrey cover of "All I want for Christmas is You" but with your OC instead, so I did with my girlie Charlie. I've been at a weird point in my art journey for a while already (more on that maybe another time, when I feel like typing it all out into a post) , but one of the issues I've been circling around is the whole username thing.    "LilaacWitch"    I like this name, I mean I chose it, what, 10 years ago by now? Maybe less , but I'm starting to feel like I'm growing out of the name a little bit. I'm not super into witchcraft, unlike some peeps I see online. Not really into witchcraft in the traditional sense either. Think the most witchy thing I own is a pentagram necklace and a tarot deck.. and I guess my general obsession with the moon could count here , but that's besides the point. I mostly like the aesthetic of it all, think Whimsigoth, Cottagecore - I do like them all, but I don't see myself fitting into the "witch" category, unless we look at it like we look at witches in cartoons and anime.  So now here is the problem: What else woul...

 Opening the can of worms that is having your own blog, because I've been itching to have my own space on the internet that isn't social media. I'm not fully ready to have my own website entirely (but I do plan on having one eventually) but this feels comfy for now!  I also catch myself often wanting to just talk/write a bit, but feeling like social media is not the space to share those thoughts, so this will be my space of choice now :)  I will have to see how often I post on here, but look forward to more words of wisdom (or stupidity)   Have a little Pochita doodle as a first welcome treat :3c
